Applications for grants from the OGA Youth Fund should be made by the Area of the OGA concerned to the General Management Committee of the OGA by youthfund [at] oga [dot] org [dot] uk (subject: Youth%20Fund%20-%20message%20via%20website) (email) using the Application for Youth Fund Grant form.

In order to qualify for a grant, events must be run in accordance with the principles of the OGA’s Safeguarding Children Policy and comply with the OGA’s Youth Events Guidelines.
Areas will write a report on the event with photographs and feedback from participants. The report should include details of what was achieved in the way of benefits to the individual participants and to the OGA as an organisation.
Grants of up to £500 can be awarded for worthwhile projects that bring young people and gaff rig boats together. Areas are expected to raise funds locally, wherever possible, to match the grant requested from the Youth Fund.

Awards are made by the General Management Committee which meets three times a year in February, May and October.
