We have three East Coast Gaffling 4.1 dinghies available for members to hire:

'Essling' and ‘The Shrimp’, located at Walton-on-the-Naze. Theses can be hired using the facilities of the Walton and Frinton Yacht Club for a nominatl daily fee in addtion to the boat hire fee.  Custodian: Pete Elliston on 07487 362481 or ptk.elliston@btinternet.com

‘Suffling’ – located at Green Farm Barn IP6 0QF.  Custodian: Pete Thomas on 01473 832808 or p.m.thomas@talk21.com.

Charges are:  £15 per day, weekend - £25, week - £10 per day.

If you would like to hire either Gaffling please contact the relevant custodian to check availability on your preferred dates.  Once this has been confirmed complete the hire form and make payment using the form linked below. The form includes further details and you will be asked to confirm agreement to the terms and conditions.

 Formalise and Pay For your Gaffling 4.1 Hire

You will need to make arrangements to collect the dinghy on her trailer from the custodian and to return her afterwards.  You will need a numberplate to attach to the Gaffling’s lightboard.  The lightboard has a 7 pin connector, so bring an adapter if your car will need it.
