'Corncockle' is a Heard 28, 8.53 m LOD, 3.0 m beam, 1.5 m draught, 12.5 m LOA, 9 tonnes displacement. GRP hull and encapsulated internal ballast, GRP encapsulated wooden deck and superstructure. Built by Gaffers and Luggers, Mylor Bridge, 1993.

'Eljada' is a 1964 Francis Jones design, Sole Bay diesel motor ketch. She is built of iroko on oak frames with teak deck. 35' LOA, 10' beam 5' draft. Main mast 21', mizzen mast 15'. Bermudan ketch rig. New kit includes mainsail, jib and saloon upholstery, though further equipment is required.
