Sea-Change Sailing Trust are looking for young people between the ages of 16 and 25 years to join a five day residential sailing trip aboard the Thames Sailing Barge 'Reminder' in July 2015. This may be an ideal opportunity for the Duke of Edinburgh Gold Residential.

East Coast Gaffers will be introducing a 'Pioneer' troop of 20 scouts from Brightlingsea to sailing the big gaffer 'Pioneer' as well as seeing the gaff rig at work on smaller boats.

East Coast gaffers took up the invitation from Tollesbury Sailing Club again this year, for a small boat event to start the season on 2 - 3 May, 2015. 17 classic dinghies and smack boats took to the water on Saturday, for an exhilarating race with excellent food and entertainment at the Kings Head into the evening.
