North Sea crewing opportunity!

I'm sailing Marihona from Risør, SE Norway (her 1957 birthplace) to the River Tyne this summer (2019) and seeking experienced crew members. Exact date unknown.

I will be waiting for moderate winds, between NW to SE roughly, no beating into SW gales or any other heroics. The trip will take 4-5 days max. However, spending a few days waiting for nice weather will be inevitable, I can't fit in with any tight schedules.

Friendly experienced skipper and one crew so far, looking for one or two more people to join us. You must be competent and comfortable with crossing the busy North Sea at night under sail, and enjoy gaff rig sailing of course!

'Marihona' is fast, well equipped and well found. There will be no engine use on this pure sailing voyage, adding to the interest. She's listed on the OGA Boat Register.

I can feed you and pay flights etc. to Norway, by arrangement. If you can hand, reef and steer, have a jolly persona and have a couple of weeks free for what's going to be a fantastic trip, get in touch!
