'Stonechat' was built in Essex by Austin Edge, she was planned to be used for short-handed cruising in the North Sea, hence the small cockpit. She’s loosely based on a Colin Archer design, built in ferrocement. Find out more about 'Stonechat' in the online Boat Register, only accessible to OGA members.

The Hamble Sea Scout Group have used her for around 20 years around the Solent and take part in OGA events whenever possible. The Sea Scouts will be using the OGA Youth Fund award to support purchase of a new VHF radio.
