Plymouth-Brest-la Rochelle 2014 (revival)

Plymouth-la Rochelle race

This historic race will run again from 29 July to 8 August. We understand there's already quite a bit of interest with 21 yachts pre-registered by the end of February, ten of which are British with nine starting at Plymouth. First created in 1939 by the Royal Ocean Racing Club (RORC) with support of the Société des Régates Rochelaises (SRR) and the Royal Western Yacht Club of England (RWYC), the race was stopped during World War II and again raced from 1947 to 1981.

Following the successful revival in 2012, it takes place again this year, read about the history of the event.

If you're still considering it, pre-register here.
