It is with deep regret that we announce that Sue Farrer, Elder Gaffer and OGA Secretary, died on Wednesday 15th January.

In July 2019 Alasdair Mackenzie and his sister took his winkle brig 'Faith' on a trip down the Thames from Oxford and through London, arriving home in Brightlingsea several days later. His log of the adventure won the Log Prize at the East Coast AGM. This is now available to download in full.

In the November issue of Gaffers Log, members will have heard that 'Gwenili' was involved in a road accident whilst being transported to her new owner in Greece. Here is an update . . .

New member, Paul Stevens, is on passage to Porto with 'White Cloud', sailing her from her previous home on the East Coast of England.

Deben Cherub 'Ariel' is launched by the great grandson of her builder Eversons & Son, at the yard where she was built, now known as The Woodbridge Boatyard. Do you know of any Everson-built boats?
